First off let's get straight to what's wrong with this bar. BE CAREFUL if you come with a large crowd OR you host a part upstairs or downstairs in the basement. The waiters will start bringing out beers and drinks WITHOUT you asking for it causing you to spend MORE money! That's so shady and disgusting IMO. I'm already investing in this place so stop being cunning af.
The only good thing about this place is the food. It's delicious. The sangria is EXTREMELY sweet!!! -

This place is trash. They LITERALLY didn't have half the menu. Why are you open if you don't have half the menu? Just close the restaurant for the day if you don't have food. We wasted an hour ordering food and then 20 mins later the waitress would tell us "oh we don't have it, pick something else". This happened at least 3 times. Then we talked to the owner and he didn't seem to care. DO NOT GO HERE.

I came here because I had a craving for "authentic" ceviche. Although it was a bit of a hike from Manhattan, this place really hits the spot. My ceviche was divine; even though, the price point is kind of high for the area, the dish was served with ample portions. The restaurant is HUGE and kind of elegant; I felt a little underdressed in jeans and a T-shirt.
Although the food and pisco sours were delicious, the service was a little (a lot) slow. My friend and I were sitting at the bar, but we really had to actively get someone to refill our drinks. I do not know if this is normal, because a large birthday party was wrapping up. Perhaps, two bartenders were stretched a little thin.
Although this restaurant is kind of fancy, but it has karaoke on some nights. All in all, I enjoyed this place (even with the long trip) more than the few places that I visited in Manhattan. -

I have been to many Peruvian restaurants since I am a Peruvian myself. This time the food was one of the most terrible food I have ever had in many years. The leche de tigre was not fresh and tasted really bad. It tasted like it was prepared hours ago. The arroz chaufa was one of the worst I ever had , it was missing salt and it tasted mostly like egg. The only good thing was the Jalea but even that was not that good. And the chicha had to be remade because the first time was missing sugar and it tasted like water. On all and all the service was great but the food lack on flavor. I would not be back and rather go to Pio Pío because for my taste the food was too overprice for the quality they give you.

Pollo saltado was very salty and so was the chaufa rice.
There was no liquor served even though they have on the internet a bar and say they ser liquor so trying to swallow that salty food was a nightmare.
